Abdul Rashid
Abdul Rashid is a mountaineer, photographer, and Himalayan expert. Originally from a small village in Nubra Valley by the Indo-Chinese border, he speaks 8 languages. Rashid coordinates the High Asia Habitat Fund's field work in Ladakh, India.

Ashish Singh
Ashish Singh is a Partner at Bain & Company, based in Boston, USA. He joined Bain in 1993, and has advised CEOs all over the world, in many industries. Ashish served on Bain’s Global Board of Directors from 2012 to 2018. He founded Bain’s office in India in 2005, and led Bain India to its current position of being one of Bain’s largest offices. Ashish was the Global Practice Leader for Bain’s Healthcare practice (2013 to 2018). He also co-founded Bain’s Enterprise Software (1996), Media & Entertainment (1998), and Pharmaceutical practices (2001). Ashish is a keen adventure traveler and climber.…

Behzad J. Larry, FRGS, FRAS
Behzad Larry is a conservationist and social entrepreneur. He has worked with non-profits across Central & South Asia, Eastern & Southern Africa, and North America on projects that combine the need for sustainable livelihoods with environmental conservation. Behzad has led programs across the Himalayas and High Asia focused on sustainable tourism, community based conservation and working with snow leopards in particular. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society, and has served as a William Jefferson Clinton Fellow in India.

Caitlin Ferguson
Caitlin is a nonprofit and international development professional. She has consulted with social enterprises, nonprofits, and foundations around the world on technology, project management and business development. Having grown up in the foothills of the Rockies, Caitlin has been passionate about mountains all of her life. She has lived in South Asia for nearly seven years, including as William J. Clinton Fellow for Service in India and as a State Department Critical Language Scholar. She holds a BA from Northeastern University in Public Advocacy & Rhetoric. Gina Barton
Gina took an interest in biology at a young age, which led to a Master's degree in biology focused on ornithology. She spent 13 years as an ornithologist studying bird migration and the effects of habitat management on bird populations. Having a lifelong zeal for travel, she changed careers to nature-focused travel, merging this with her love of wildlife behavior. Gina is CEO of Cheesemans' Ecology Safaris organizing safaris and leading others throughout the world.

Jo Vickers
Having spent the last 27 years working as a PR consultant to some of the worlds leading luxury hotels, resorts, lifestyle brands and experiences, Ms Jo Vickers is a ‘connector’ as the author of the Tipping Point, Malcom Gladwell would say, and enjoys nothing more than using her influence and creativity to 'connect' the right people together. Ms Vickers has earned an unparalleled reputation for her ability to bring the right people and brands together, and has been recognized by Fortune Magazine as one of the “Top 50 Most Powerful Women.”

Khenrab Phuntsog
Khenrab Phuntsog is an award-winning snow leopard conservationist. With close to two decades as a Wildlife Guard in Hemis National Park, he is one of the keystones of conservation within the park. Having tracked, rescued, and engaged with wild snow leopards his whole career, he may be one of the world’s leading non-academic experts on snow leopard behavior, and a fount of knowledge on all other species in the Trans-Himalayas including the Tibetan wolf, the Eurasian lynx, the Pallas’ cat, and the Himalayan brown bear. Dr. Koustubh Sharma
Dr. Koustubh Sharma is the Regional Coordinator for the Global Snow Leopard & Ecosystem Protection Program, a joint initiative of range country governments, international agencies, civil society, and the private sector. He is also Senior Regional Ecologist with the Snow Leopard Trust. Koustubh did his Masters in Physics from the University of Bhopal, India. It was during this period that he also conducted a small study on the avian fauna of Bhopal, and developed his first stand-alone software to help identify birds. Matt Armstrong-Ford
From a very early age nature and wild spaces have captivated Matt. He can’t remember a time that he has not been drawn to their magic and mystique. Early interest quickly developed into passion and he eventually found himself in Africa working as a Safari Guide and Lodge Manager. It was during this time that his understanding of conservation grew and developed, eventually becoming his primary point of interest. Rigzin Chosdol
Rigzin Chosdol has a Master's in Economics from Jammu University and is our field coordinator for Ladakh. She grew up at 14,000 feet near the small village of Gya in Ladakh. A trained mountaineer, she has been part of several expeditions, including for spotting snow leopards!

Smanla Tsering
Smana Tsering is a snow leopard specialist and award-winning conservationist. He has spent two decades pushing conservation in Hemis National Park, India as a Wildlife Guard. Smanla has tracked, rescued, and engaged with wild snow leopard for his whole career and along with Khenrab, he may be one of the world’s leading non-academic experts on snow leopard behavior. Smanla leads training for rangers and field teams, advises on community outreach, and sustainable livelihood initiatives.
